Membership bylaws

Our four core governance pillars

The principles every PTA member agrees to uphold, the foundation of a neutral, democratic, non-commercial alliance.

    Democratic 50% + 1 Voting

    Every alliance decision requires a 50% + 1 majority of eligible members.

    Strict Non-Political Stance

    PTA stays independent of any political party, platform, or agenda.

    Strict Non-Religious Neutrality

    The alliance remains neutral on all matters of religion.

    1 Member = 1 Equal Vote

    Every verified member holds the same voice, regardless of company size.

01Name and purpose

The alliance is named Pakistan Tech Alliance. Its purpose is to accelerate verified technology enterprises through collaboration, advocacy and shared programmes.

02Membership

Membership is individual and granted to founders and senior executives of verified technology enterprises after Secretariat review.

03Rights of members

Each member has one vote, may join any initiative track and may propose sessions and agenda items.

04General assembly

The general assembly meets at least once a year. Decisions are taken by simple majority (50% + 1) with a quorum of two thirds of members.

05Executive council

An elected council coordinates the initiatives for a two-year term. No member may serve more than two consecutive terms.

06Secretariat

The Secretariat in Lahore runs daily operations, membership reviews and events.

07Finances

The alliance charges no membership fees. Programmes are funded by partners under transparent agreements approved by the council.

08Amendments

These bylaws can be amended by a two-thirds vote of the general assembly.
